You will work cooperatively and collaboratively as a member of the management team. With the Manager, you will contribute to and implement the long and short range plans for the branch, identify operational efficiencies, set service standards, and model the EPL service philosophy of Find A Way to Say Yes. You will recruit, train, supervise and coordinate the work of Library Assistants who provide services and programming. You will promote a team environment that supports staff in developing their
leadership and capacity to meet the Library’s objectives.

Qualifications:
- You possess a Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited library school.
- You will have a minimum 3 years of directly related experience.
- Experience developing, implementing and evaluating library programs and work procedures.
- Experience with computers and mobile devices and Microsoft Office and social software applications.
- Experience with Library specific software applications (Integrated Library System – SIRSI).
Note: Satisfactory background screening is required for this position, which includes a Criminal Record Check/Police Information Check.

Pay Band: $47.78 – $59.28 per hour*
*Approximately $87,310 – $108,311 per annum based on a 35 hour work week.
Note:
EPL offers competitive compensation, an excellent pension and benefits plan, an earned day off program and 20 days of vacation leave per annum. The successful candidate may be eligible for relocation assistance.
