EPL Branch Manager – Various Locations

As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced manager with superior communication and leadership skills who can motivate staff, model excellent customer service, lead projects, and build community connections. As one who seeks and sparks creative contributions from others, you possess coaching and mentoring skills that enable your staff to develop and excel!

You will use your superb organizational skills to manage an EPL service point, including the budget and staffing, as well as the facility, collections and services in order to best meet the needs of the community. You are familiar with trends in library service delivery and related technologies and you will promote a learning environment, working with staff to develop their leadership capacity.

You are committed to upholding the Canadian Federation of Library Associations position statements on Intellectual Freedom and Diversity and Inclusion. Working as a member of a system-wide team environment, you will make a real difference in people’s lives every day.

EPL offers competitive compensation, an excellent pension and benefits plan, an earned day off program, and 20 days of vacation leave per annum. The successful candidate may be eligible for relocation assistance. 

Qualifications:

  • Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited library school.
  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional library, leadership, supervisory, management or directly related experience.
