Airdrie Public Library is a member of the Marigold Library System and is one of the fastest growing libraries in one of the fastest growing cities in Alberta.

The successful candidate will be part of the programming team and deliver programs off-site and in the library to school-aged children.

Required Training, Experience, Skills

The successful candidate will be approachable, flexible, and empathetic.  The position requires an individual who takes initiative and has a good knowledge of community programs and resources.

  • Minimum two years post-secondary education
  • Proven experience delivering programs to children
  • Excellent technology, and presentation skills
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving abstract
  • Access to a vehicle

Assets:

  • Public library, education, or non-profit work experience
  • Some experience with digital literacy technologies (such as coding, robotics, 3D printing)

Employment Terms:

  • 24 hours per week
  • Some evening and weekend shifts required
  • Wage $24.25/hr.
