JOB OPPORTUNITY: LIBRARY MANAGER

The M.D. of Willow Creek library board is seeking a part-time Library Manager, in the Hamlet of Granum, for 20-25 hours a week.

The ideal candidate has the skills to work in a small community, create an open and welcoming environment, and communicate effectively.

This person is a team player who effectively collaborates with the Library Board, any temporary or casual staff, and the community. This individual willingly embraces change and will play a key role in the continued evolution of our library.

The ideal candidate is organized, able to give and take direction, and works well unsupervised. Strong computer skills are a requirement.

Job responsibilities include managing the library’s collection of resources, serving patrons, developing programming, keeping records, and working within the Chinook Arch Library System.
