Position Details

Keyano College Library is hiring for a full-time permanent Public Services Technician. The Public Services Technician is a patron-driven position that facilitates access to Library services and resources, working under the supervision of the Library Chair. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of public and circulation services, collection and space maintenance, and directing/monitoring student assistants. This position maintains the order of the library’s collections and physical space and, in collaboration with Library team members, assists with the promotion of library services, supports initiatives, and collection development.

Employment Terms

This is a permanent full-time, 35 hours a week, position with benefits.

Salary: $72,749.96 (CUPE TS6-1) annually. This position also qualifies for additional payment of the Northern Living Allowance of $1,040.00 per month.

Start Date: September 1, 2026 or a date to be determined in consultation with the successful applicant.

Reports to: Chair of Library Services
